Small tools that do one job each.
SkiffTools is a growing set of single-purpose tools — a randomizer, a CSV transposer, a password generator, a turn timer. Nothing here is trying to be a platform.
What that means in practice
One job per tool
No dashboards, no modes, no upgrade banners. A tool page does one thing and explains itself in a single screen. If a tool needs a tutorial, it is two tools.
Nothing you have to sign up for
You never need an account to use a tool. The handful of AI tools ask for one so we can meter free credits — everything else runs the moment the page loads.
Most of it stays on your machine
The randomizers, converters, formatters and hash tools all compute locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and we keep no record of what you generated.
Small on purpose
Every tool loads fast and works on a phone. Nothing here needs a manual, a plugin, or a faster connection than you already have.
Built small, kept if useful.
We ship tools in small increments rather than waiting for a big release. A new tool goes live, a few people use it, and we watch whether it actually helps.
Tools that earn their place stay and get polished. Tools nobody reaches for get retired instead of quietly rotting in a menu. That is why the list changes more often than a typical toolbox site — and why everything on it is something we still stand behind.
If a tool grows into something that deserves its own home, it gets one. We would rather split than let one page turn into a suite.
LightSkiff
SkiffTools is built and maintained by LightSkiff, a small team of developers and designers. We started building tools in September 2025 out of frustration with the alternatives: pages buried in ads, file uploads that never needed to happen, and sign-up walls in front of a one-line calculation.
We are not trying to replace the heavy software you already use. We are trying to cover the small jobs that heavy software is bad at.
Missing a tool?
Tell us the job you were trying to do and we will look at building it. Requests are how most of the current tools got here.
